Jana Riess is the author, co-author, or editor of nine books including her most recent, Flunking Sainthood, as well as What Would Buffy Do? The Vampire Slayer as a Spiritual Guide; Mormonism for Dummies; and The Writer’s Market Guide to Getting Published. She holds degrees in religion from Wellesley College and Princeton Theological Seminary, and a Ph.D. in American religious history from Columbia University. Currently, Jana works in the publishing industry as an acquisitions editor, and in September will assume the position of Director of Publishing at Patheos Press, where she’ll help guide their efforts in digital publishing.
